State Historical Marker Installed Honoring Big Rock Point Nuclear Plant

Consumers Energy, Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians and Michigan Historical Commission officials recently unveiled a State Historical Marker at G. Robert Adams Roadside Park east of Charlevoix. The marker honors the achievements of the Big Rock Point nuclear plant and the significance of the area to the Odawas.

Top 10 Movies Made in Michigan

A good overview of movies made in the Mitten state. Most recently Michael Bay has enjoyed the backdrop of an abandoned train station in Detroit for his films Transformers and The Island. Michigan is unique in that it has sand dunes, lakes that look like oceans, forests farms mountains and a big city. Great backdrops for just about any film.
